YOUSSEF L'KHALIL BEN HAMIDA :
ALL ABOUT ME 

I grew up looking for arts. That's what I do for living, that’s what I love.

I did not get the balance between the piano and the pencils until the golden 90’s when Metal and Hard Rock drag me critically into music.

I bought a guitar, learned the basics and started playing with other musicians.
Not enough.

I felt the need to produce my Music with a personal unique sound, so I turned into DAWs. It was the 2000’s,
I spent more and more time exploring music softwares & I was continuously learning skills and producing music, more professionally throughout the years. But as job, I was giving guitar lessons.

Still not enough.

So after my master degree in Music and Musicology (2014), I went to France to study Music scoring for movies (2015). It allowed me to add more solid knowledge to my arsenal and to have experience by working with many film directors and CGI movies creators.

Then I came back to Tunis. As an aspiring music composer, I got the Main Composer and associate Sound Designer position for a video games studio settled in Tunis (2018).
Now I'm an independant freelancer, I know that what I did in the last six years is what I want to continue doing as a job for the rest of my life : Scoring & producing Music

Time, experience and inspiration are my friends in what I do.
